I usually write two emails every month: a life update and a product announcement. Both short, both important. I might skip one of them if there's nothing to report, but I rarely write more than two.

For life emails, I sit down and write as if I were telling you about my life and how this trip is going, and hey, look at this cool thing I saw the other day. I might show you some work-in-progress

In product emails, I show you the latest prints and products I've been working on, and I always give you first dibs and a friends-and-family price on things, before I make them public to the rest of the world (at regular prices). It's a really good deal.

When all is said and done, the thing is this scribbling-for-a-living deal can get lonely, so it's great to wave and yell at you from the other side of the screen. I appreciate having an art family to write to and hear from.
