Now, let me tell you about this book:

• It’s 72 pages, printed on satin paper. It has a lovely sheen that makes the colours pop. 

• It’s 5.5 by 8.5 inches.

• There is a 2-page spread devoted to every Zooctober piece.

  • On the left, you have the day, the name, and the digital sketch I made for every piece before I sat down, pen in hand, to draw it on paper. I also included the short, silly texts I wrote daily along with every post on socials.

  • On the right, each Zooctober piece is printed the same size as the hand-made original with the tagline I wrote for it. It looks pretty amazing, if I say so myself.

• It’s a paperback with thick covers and glued binding. No staples here, no dear sirs and madams. This is a quality book. 😑

• I wrote an intro detailing the origin of the idea and my thoughts about Zooctober and its craziness.

When I started Zooctober, I did not plan to make a book. But as time passed, I was getting momentum with the drawings. Also, the reception was great, and I knew a lot of people would love to have the whole thing in a single package. Especially because some of the originals were sold almost immediately after I posted them, so there were folks out there who missed them by a minute.

With that in mind, I figured the best way to satisfy that interest would be to compile every drawing in a book. It was a ton of work, but I think the results are worth it.

Let me tell you, this is a cool collection of the pretty images I drew in October 2024. If you followed the whole thing as I published every daily piece, you know some really cool animals are in there. I am very proud of the entire endeavour and about every single piece.
