I first painted snakes for the Cyclus collection. As I have been venturing into the world of Technicolor, I sometimes wondered how the Slithering Ones would look through this new colourful lens. As you almost certainly know by now, I am also constantly prodding and noodling around ideas of balance and light and dark.

And I have been thinking a lot lately about how straight paths seldom work or even exist in life. There's always a twist or twenty; what we think we want is almost never what we need, and how we get it is almost always a surprise.

All this came together and conspired to rearrange a shitton of pixels and seriously inconvenience a large bunch of electrons. The result was this new piece. I hope you like it.
