Beetle (Candied Critters)

The first thing I painted in this “candied” approach was a beetle. A different one, mind you, and it didn’t look as good as this new version. If you get my letters, you probably saw the image I shared back then. It was cool, but not as cool as this one.

So, when I decided to come back to this idea, I knew I wanted to flesh out and improve that version of a beetle. And I think I managed to do that. This one is much prettier, much shinier and a bit more beetle-ier than the first. I hope you’ll enjoy having it home.
