Kintsugi (bundle)

from US$25.00
Size:

The last couple months have been rough for all of us, all over the world. Shit's uncertain, and we're all fighting in more fronts than we can count. And sometimes, it feels like we're losing ground.

But these pieces are not about the hits we get, or the shit they break. They're about how we take the hits, rebuild and move on, carrying our wounds and our scars with pride and sometimes, with a bit of thankfulness.

You see, there's this old Japanese technique called Kintsugi. When a porcelain bowl broke, instead of just throwing it away, or trying to fix it in a way that was not noticeable, they would take lacquer, mixed with gold or platinum, and they'd fix the cracks in a very noticeable and beautiful way. The message here was, being broken is not the end, and having been fixed is not something to hide. The cracks and the fixes are a part of the story. We should carry that story with pride.

And hey, if you resonate more with one or the other, take a look at Part 1 and Part 2 on their own.

Note: If you select the 18×24 inch print, regardless of the option you choose, I will ship it using the “Tracked, Super Awesome” service. The cheaper option isn’t suitable for tubes, so I've priced both the same in this case. However, I will still ship it using the faster, premium, insured, and tracked service.
